The story of this little mouse brang me to London. It was my second experience on an animation feature film.

Fly me to the moon

"Fly me to the moon" was my first feature film experience. And also, my first real work experience!
The studio (Nwave Digital) is located in Brussels, Belgium. It's a small company specialized in stereoscopic 3D movies. I had a wonderful time working there. They gave me my chance as an animator and I will keep them in my heart.

Handmade cute harnesses for doggies

Ok, let me explain...
April 2010, we decided with Manu that it was time for us to have the dog we always wanted as we were feeling happy in Sydney. We didn't really have a clear idea about the breed but because of living in a flat, we prefered not to have a labrador! After doing many searches on the internet about "THE" dog, we finally decided to adopt a miniature dachshund! YAY! Best choice ever! An adorable little sausage that we named Ficelle. In french, it's a fine long bread baguette and also a "string"...

 

She quickly started to inspire me and because of her long body and sensitive back, I wanted to design a harness for her. It's how I made my first one! People were stopping me in the street making compliments about the harness and asking where I bought it! I made and sold few of them and still make them on order and on measurements.

 TECHNICAL notes about the harness:
This harness is better for your dog and ground he/she walks on. It’s a humane alternative to collar and leash walking. A durable, handmade cloth harness that wraps around your pet’s neck and under the chest with black or white Velcro. The neck area is reinforced with a side-release buckle. This vest design diverts stress from your pet’s neck to protect its spine and eliminates underarm chaffing. A leash loop is located on the top of the harness. Designed so bulky buckles don’t interfere with Rover’s range of motion. KEY FEATURES For durability and strength the cloth is double layered and reinforced with interfacing. 3 sq/in of Velcro at the neck. 4 sq/in of Velcro at the chest.

How to measure your dog?

Using a soft tape measure and give me the measurements in “inches”:

1. Neck

Measure around the dogs neck opening.

2. Length

Measure the length of your dog by placing the start of the tape measure from the back of neck to the base of tail.

3. Chest/Girth

Place the tape measure behind the dogs front leg and measure around the chest area.

Greg & Arnaud first decoration...

My friends Greg and Arnaud arrived from Belgium to work in Sydney. They just moved in a flat together, close to the beach in Tamarama. They are going to surf every morning and are enjoying a lot their new adventure in Sydney.
For the moment, their flat is a bit...Empty! They asked me if I can put colors in it :D Oh YEAH BABY!!! I love that! I'll take care of it later but for their housewarming party I painted a little canvas inspired by my master's style Alberto Cerriteno  :)
